Hey Hey! My name is Kate Gentry and I‘m from Spanish Fort Alabama! I‘m super pumped for this amazing opportunity. So, why did I choose the World Race? During my Junior and a little into my Senior year of high school, I looked into different colleges. I kept getting the usual question of “where are you going next year?” I could never settle on a college or a major. Taking a mission trip had always been sitting in the back of my head, so I looked into different gap years and internships available. I was informed of this amazing opportunity and felt the Lord tugging on my heart to apply. Doors kept opening and pointing me in this direction so I took it as the Lord telling me to do this. Pursuing this adventure is so exciting. I have felt so much peace from this decision. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for me and I am excited to grow more in my relationship with Him and other fellow believers.
